The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 165248 (SUSE Security Update for Multiple Packages (SUSE-SR:2010:001)).
Upgrading to version 8.2.11 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published even before and not after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
